Sixties It Couple: George Harrison & Pattie Boyd

I don't particularly care for Pattie Boyd.  Sure, I like her OK, but I'm not fascinated by her. The reason or reasons for this are unclear; maybe it's because she's a Pisces and the only girl I've ever hated in my life is a Pisces, but I've never had any strong desire to spend absurd amounts of money to collect pictures of her like I do with Marianne and Anita, or obsessively learn facts about her life.  She was the prettiest of the Beatle women, so she's most people's favorite because of that, but to me, her looks weren't all that boastworthy.  A pretty face is a dime a dozen, after all. I also don't find her that interesting.  Her life with George Harrison, who she married in 1966, and then with Harrison's friend Eric Clapton, has made her one of rock's most famous wives/muses, and you'd think that the person who inspired one of the most yearning love songs ever, "Layla" must have been pretty fucking remarkable.  And perhaps she was, but I just don't get it.  I read her autobiography "Wonderful Tonight" (2007) and she struck me as likeable and sweet, but there was something missing, the ferocity and spark that seemed to crackle and pop inside Anita and Marianne.  Still, she and George made a pretty pair, and I've scanned some photos of them, most that I've come across in books or magazines scouring for Marianne pictures.  I know she has a following just like my favorite ladies, so I hope you enjoy these.
